Ordering PPE: Community Providers Northern Region

The DHBs have implemented a system for community providers in the northern region to request Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The process for General Practice remains the same. Below is information to assist you to request supplies.

NRHCC distribute PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) to organisations in the Northern Region only.

Please follow the Ministry's guidance on PPE use for your particular service type. This is updated from time to time, so please check regularly to make sure you stay up to date on the latest guidance on the appropriate use of PPE.

Processing of requests

Stocktakes and PPE requests are monitored regularly and stock will be distributed accordingly. You do not need to update the stocktake until you are running low on particular item(s).

Please be considerate as supplies need to be shared across hundreds of organisations. We need to make sure everyone has enough supplies. Please do not request items unless they are needed. Please do not request items just to have on hand. Consider the supplies you require over the next week or two as opposed to placing a large order that will cover you for many months.
