A report on how NZ can have better digital technology for the health and disability sector

Hauora, Mauri Ora: Enabling a Healthier Aotearoa New Zealand reports on how we have a unique opportunity to be a global leader in digital health innovation.

Right now our health and disability information systems are not very well joint up. The proposed data-sharing platform will make storing, using and sharing information more cohesive, secure and aligned with modern technology developments.

This means if you use different healthcare providers, you don't need to tell your story again and again. Everyone will be seeing and using the same information which is safer and more convenient for everyone. The proposed data-sharing platform will cost several million dollars and take five years to build.
